A new Téléporté Mixte installation is being built in Thyon, in La Matze, replacing the two cable cars currently in operation. The planned installation combines 6-seater chairs with 10-seater cabins and allows a transport capacity of 2,000 people per hour. This investment will allow, for the first time, pedestrian transport between Les Collons 1900 and Thyon 2000, while maintaining the main function, i.e. transporting skiers and especially beginners. In addition, the " Les Collons " ski lift will be replaced by a new ski lift. Parallel to the construction of the new cable car, a strong development of leisure activities will be realised. Planned is, in particular, a brand-new winter toboggan run.
