Fixed-grip Chairlifts
Fixed-grip chairlifts belong to the category of continuous-movement ropeway systems. On an endlessly circulating haul rope, carriers with seats for one or more passengers are permanently fixed at regular intervals. Passengers are secured with a safety bar, and footrests beneath the chair provide support for skis or feet during the ride.
