Bartholet Involved in Reactivating the Szczawnik Ski Resort, Poland.

Bartholet Maschinenbau AG is excited to announce its collaboration with the PKL Group and the Municipality of Muszyna to reactivate the Szczawnik ski resort. Under this contract, Bartholet will construct a state-of-the-art ropeway in the new tourist center of Szczawnik.

 

The ski resort will be a family-friendly winter skiing destination and an attractive summer tourist spot. This investment includes the ropeway and the construction of ski slopes, parking lots, dining facilities, and additional infrastructure.

 

The planned Telemix cable car will feature 20 modern 10-passenger gondolas and 20 comfortable 6-seater chairs—the gondolas, designed by Studio F. A. Porsche, offers panoramic views and comes equipped with a ventilation system and vibration damping to enhance comfort. They are also barrier-free and suitable for transporting strollers.

 

Markus Menzi, CEO of Bartholet Maschinenbau AG, stated, "The cable car will lead from the lower station to the central area of the resort, where there will be various ski slopes for both beginners and advanced skiers." The cable car will be 1500 meters long and will travel at a speed of 5 meters per second. The new cable car is scheduled to be operational by December 2025.
