HighLights – Cologne-Bonn Airport
Further 7 lighting masts were renewed by Bartholet Maschinenbau AG at Cologne-Bonn Airport and equipped with LED floodlights, 5G modules for faster wireless data transmission and surveillance cameras. Four masts were equipped with the new automated lowering system. Here, the power supply as well as the Ethernet and optical waveguide (FO) signal transmission is ensured without interference by means of the self-centering connectors. The new lighting masts provide optimum lighting conditions on the apron thanks to LED technology with high LUX output. The innovative lowering system significantly simplifies maintenance and servicing work, can be operated by one person, and meets the high requirements of current labor and aviation regulations.
