Milestone Achievement in Varanasi

The rope splicing for the first section of the Varanasi Ropeway, from the Cantt main station to Yatra, including the Vidya Peeth intermediate station, is complete.  The first test rides have already taken place.

Meanwhile, the first towers for the second section have been erected. This section, which will also feature an intermediate station, will extend to the Godowlia Chowk temple district, near the River Ganges. 

As India’s first urban ropeway, this project will significantly ease Varanasi’s heavy traffic, providing a modern and efficient mobility solution for the city.
