New 8-seater panoramic gondola in Yixing, China

On September 27, 2024, authorities officially approved our new 8-seater gondola at the Yixing Bamboo Sea Park in China. 
 

This park, located in the southern mountains of Yixing in eastern China, is often referred to as the "Sea of Bamboo" due to its dense bamboo forests that create an emerald green landscape. It is a popular tourist destination that beautifully blends natural beauty, Zen spiritual culture, regional diversity, the world of ceramics, and a rich bamboo culture. The park is considered a representative example of China's unique bamboo landscapes, showcasing the distinctive ambience and cultural significance of bamboo.

The gondola system features 25 spacious and comfortably designed cars created by Studio F. A. Porsche. This cable car not only enhances transportation within the park but also serves as an attraction in its own right. With a height difference of 400 meters and a length of 1.4 kilometres, it provides visitors with an opportunity to fully appreciate the unique surroundings. The gondola has a capacity of transporting 1,200 people per hour.
