Non-destructive testing

Non-destructive testing is part of the regulations of the ropeway standards. Bartholet employs qualified inspectors, who are able to perform these non-destructive tests adequately.

Why?

Non-destructive testing is part of the regulations of the ropeway standards. Every operator of a ropeway is obliged to check the correct components of his ropeway according to the manufacturer's operating instructions.

 

What?

Early detection of hidden defects in materials, components and designs 

 

What for?

To prevent accidents endangering human life and serious damage to property and the environment.

 

Who?

Non-destructive testing is an indispensable instrument for quality control and quality assurance.

 

Our range of services includes the following procedures:

  • Magnetic powder test
  • Penetration test
  • Ultrasound test
  • X-ray inspection
  • Visual inspection

 

All test procedures can be carried out in Flums where we have a large dark room with perfect test conditions. Bartholet also has ideal facilities for on-site testing. The feasibility has to be clarified in advance with the quality assurance.
