Project Update: Ropeway Construction in Nanchang, China

A 5.5 km long ropeway system is being built in the Meiling National Scenic Area, about 15 km from the center of Nanchang. The system comprises two sections that can be operated independently or together. The first section, which stretches over 4.2 km, is impressive. 

The cable car will have 112 panoramic cabins designed by Studio F. A. Porsche. The area around Meiling, which is known for its national forest park, is a popular destination for visitors.
